Hello again, Emma! I haven't written to you since late last year. So much has happened in the meantime...
We celebrated your first birthday in March here at our home. Friends and family were crowded around as you dug into two pint-sized pink cakes Jojo made you for your Princess Party. Needless to say, you made a wonderful mess and enjoyed every bite!
You also started walking, talking and dancing over the last six months. You LOVE animals, fish and bugs - and can name nearly every one you see in your own little way (zebras and horses are "neigh", cats and tigers are "mmm-ow", lions are "rarr", fish are "Fffffi", elephants are an extended arm, and piglets are a quick gutteral "unhh-unhh").
Your dancing skills are "unique." You do this little backwards jig that is a mixture of The Robot and the Moonwalk. Mommy, Michael and I love to watch you dance so joyfully, and to see the way your "moves" change from month-to-month.
Aunt Mary took pictures of our family on a rainy afternoon several weeks ago. I included everyone's unanimous favorite up above...
